A new Conscious Living series that turns awareness into one small, practical action each week

Introducing: Where Gratitude Grows Challenges You...

A Weekly Invitation to Live More Consciously

Conscious living isn't only something we think about, talk about, or read about. It is something we practice.

It happens in the small moments - where we place our attention, the words we choose, the habits we repeat, and the way we treat ourselves and the people around us.

Beginning each Monday, Where Gratitude Grows will offer one simple challenge to practice throughout the week.

Some challenges may ask you to become more aware of how you spend your time.

Some may encourage you to connect more deeply with the people you love.

Others may ask you to pay attention to your thoughts, your reactions, or the world around you.

These challenges are not about perfection.

They are not another reason to judge yourself or feel as though you have failed.

They are simply opportunities to notice - and then consciously choose.

To help you remember each week's challenge, tie a colored piece of yarn or ribbon around your wrist. You could also wear a bracelet or choose another small reminder that you will notice throughout your day.

Each time you see it, pause.

Remember the challenge.

Ask yourself whether you are living it in that moment.

And if you have forgotten, simply begin again.

The reminder is not there to judge you.

It is there to gently bring you back.

At the end of each week, take a moment to reflect.

What did you notice?

Did anything change?

Is there something from the challenge that you would like to carry forward?

A simple thread. A small challenge. One more opportunity to live consciously. Will you take the challenge with me?

Weekly Challenge ~ 001

Speak to Yourself with Love and Grace

WHERE GRATITUDE GROWS CHALLENGES YOU...

How often do you say things to yourself that you would never say to someone you love?

I always mess things up.

I can't do anything right.

I'm not good enough.

Sometimes these thoughts have become so automatic that we no longer even notice them.

So this week, pay attention to the way you speak to yourself.

Every time you catch an unkind thought, pause and consciously replace it with something kinder.

Instead of:

"I always mess things up."

Try:

"I made a mistake. I'm human, and I can learn from it."

Instead of:

"I can't do anything right."

Try:

"This didn't go the way I hoped, but this one moment does not define me."

And when you notice an unkind thought, don't criticize yourself for having it.

Simply notice it - and choose again.

For one week, become conscious of the voice you use inside your own mind.

Show yourself more love.

Give yourself more grace.

Are you up for the challenge?

At the end of the week, notice what changes when the voice you hear most often begins to sound a little more like love.

I believe in you.
